I personally look forward to my new Canadian citizenship. But I will never relinquish my US birthright. Despite the "democratic rule of government" espoused by Canada, there is no factual comparison to the enshrined constitutional freedoms and rights granted to every US citizen! I consider myself fortunate to have dual citizenship in both great nations.
I hope that you quickly receive your Citizenship Card and can re-affirm the Canadian citizenship that should never have been compromised by the "gouvernment".
