Well as you say, Marlene was positive! The ministerial reply was standard asking me to apply so they can take my money but give me nothing. The reply from the GG was that she coudlnt help and Diane Finley's office forwarded my letter too.
I did get a response from ujall dosnjah (however you spell his name) saying that they are taking everything in to account (as he was open to re-forming the 476 or is it 467 bill).

Ive not yet had a response from John Reynolds but I did reply to the office of the Prime Minister when they mailed me and I asked what their policy was on discrimination based on gender. Yet to receive a response!

I too have mailed ministers isabel, infact myself and jorge did our mass mail a couple of weeks back. i recieved replies from some mps including marlene jennings on jason kenneys office, oh and the prime ministers office. I hope you heard back too

I asume i got my citenship card as i was born to a canadian farther before 1947, i was born in 1944 in UK, then moved to canada i think i came back to UK in 47/48 ,they are both deceased now so no one to ask. idont know if that is any help, what part of the UK do you live in, prehaps we could meet up, bye for now.

they gave me my citezenship because my father was in the services in england from canada , and iwas awarded it because he was a canadian, my mother was english. i was born in 1944, hope this helps.
